4 killed, 2 seriously injured in Gqeberha mass shooting

Four people have been killed and two others seriously injured in a mass shooting in Kwadwesi in Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape.
Police Spokesperson, Nobuntu Gantana, says armed suspects stormed a house in the Govern Mbeki area on Saturday night, demanding money and forcing victims to open their banking app before opening fire.
Three people died at the scene, while a fourth deceased later succumbed to injuries in hospital.
Two women remain hospitalized.
Gantana says a manhunt for the suspects has been launched.
“Upon arrival at the scene in Mti Street, first responders discovered three victims, two females and one male. The victims were found inside the house with fatal gunshot wounds to the heads and faces. They were declared deceased by paramedics. A fourth victim, a female who was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, tragically succumbed to her injuries shortly after arrival. Two other female survivors remain hospitalized following the attack.”
