Tavern owner killed at his premises in Mamaolo village, Limpopo
A tavern owner has been killed at his premises at Mamaolo village, outside Lebowakgomo in Limpopo.
Police Spokesperson Hlulani Mashaba says the deceased was struck on the head with a sharp object.
Mashaba says the unknown attackers fled the scene with the victim’s bakkie and an undisclosed amount of money.
He says, ” The police in Lebowakgomo have launched an intensive manhunt following a business robbery and murder of a 53-year-old tavern owner at Ga-Mphahlele, Maribeng Section in Mamaolo village.”
Mashaba adds, “The sister of the deceased went to check on her brother at his business premises, when she arrive the double garage doors of the business were wide open inside and the back office. She found him lying face down in a pool of blood after being struck with a sharp object cash and white Isuzu bakkie were stolen.”
