Meet the Top 10: Sari Queen 2026 Grand Final Comes to Kingsmead This Saturday
Durban, the wait is over. Pinky Mothie’s Sari Queen Contest 2026 reaches its Grand Final this Saturday, 7 November, at Kingsmead Cricket Stadium. Ten finalists will take the stage from 2PM to 6PM, and one of them will be crowned Sari Queen 2026.
A celebration of the sari
The Sari Queen Contest celebrates the timeless beauty of the sari, and the confidence of the women who wear it. Since the 2026 edition opened on 18 October, contestants have impressed the judges with their draping, styling, jewellery and stage presence.
What makes this year special is the range of women in the line-up. The finalists come from across Durban’s communities, proving that the elegance of the sari belongs to everyone who wears it with pride.
