Speaking during the inaugural Africa Green Hydrogen Summit in Cape Town.  President Cyril Ramaphosa said the Africa Green Hydrogen alliance between the African member states brings opportunities that will help create between two and four million jobs by 2050.

The summit brought together African energy ministers, policymakers, investors, and research institutions to plan the continent’s emerging green hydrogen sector.

Ramaphosa says more than 52 large-scale hydrogen projects have been announced across the continent.
