YCLSA calls for the removal of CEO Mangaung Metro – SABC News
The Young Communist League of South Africa (YCLSA) in Free State has called for the removal the CEO of Mangaung Metro power utility – CENTLEC, Malefane Sekoboto.
YCLSA Convener in the province, Khwezi Mohoang says under Sekoboto’s leadership, the power utility has been marred with instability and financial mismanagement.
The YCLSA is leading a community march to the CENTLEC buildings in Bloemfontein, to hand over a memorandum of demands.
Mohoang says they are marching against corruption, nepotism and victimisation of workers within the power utility.
“The first one is affordable electricity prices, to expand access to electricity for all and victimisation of workers, nepotism and continued mismanagement.”
