A manhunt is underway for a suspect who shot and killed two police officers near Roodepoort, west of Johannesburg.

The officers – who were stationed at the Florida Police Station – were transporting a business robbery suspect from court to Boksburg prison when they came under fire.

Two firearms belonging to the officers were taken, while their vehicle was found dumped meters away from the crime scene.
