Rassie Erasmus has lauded South Africans for their unwavering support of the Springboks during the first two Tests of the Rugby Championship in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
SQUAD ANNOUNCEMENT: Erasmus keeps faith in trusted warriors for NZ
In a two-part video shared on X – where he features footage from the Springboks’ recent open training session in Belhar, where more than 5-thousand Capetonians showed their support, Erasmus captioned:
“We appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts knowing that our supporters and fans always have our backs covered when “royalty” and “Sirs” have a go at our team and country!!”
This was in reference to his ongoing war-of-words with former Scotland coach and fierce critic, Matt Williams.
