Weekend weather outlook: Coastal rains and warm temperatures across South Africa
As the country braces for the weekend, the South African Weather Service (SAWS) has provided an insightful outlook for Friday and Saturday. From coastal showers in the Western Cape to the sweltering heat in parts of Gauteng, it’s a weekend of contrasts across the nation.
In Gauteng, residents can expect fine and warm conditions, although the southern regions may see some partly cloudy skies. The northern areas, however, are likely to feel a heatwave with exceptionally hot temperatures.
Mpumalanga will be basking in fine and warm to hot weather, making it an ideal scenario for outdoor activities, providing an exciting backdrop for those seeking adventure.
Similar conditions are anticipated in Limpopo, where the fine and warm weather will continue to dominate, enticing locals and visitors alike to enjoy the area’s natural beauty.
In the North West province, the forecast shows fine, windy conditions with temperatures reaching warm to hot levels. While the central parts are expected to be partly cloudy, the extreme regions will shine under sunny skies.
The Free State will experience a degree of variability, as weather enthusiasts should prepare for a partly cloudy day, with windy and warm conditions prevailing, although fine weather will greet regions in the extreme west.
