Zelenskyy awaits Trump for supply of long-range weapons – SABC News
During a joint briefing in Kyiv with Finnish President Alexander Stubb, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed that he asked US President Donald Trump last year to supply his country with long-range weapons if Russia continued rejecting a ceasefire in its war on Ukraine.

However the US has yet to supply Ukraine with such missiles and Kyiv has resorted to developing its own long range systems. Russia has continued with attempts to take ground in eastern Ukraine – three and a half years after it launched its full scale invasion of the neighbouring country. Moscow also continues to bombard Ukraine with massive waves of drones and missiles on an almost nightly basis.
