The Wallabies have suffered another backline setback with their fullback ruled out of Saturday’s Test against the All Blacks at Eden Park.
Rugby Australia confirmed that Andrew Kellaway picked up a calf strain that will sideline him for up to three weeks. The injury means coach Joe Schmidt will be forced into another reshuffle in a position that has already seen plenty of disruption this season.

According to The Roar, 21-year-old Max Jorgensen is expected to slot in at fullback, with Corey Toole and Harry Potter on the wings. Potter, who featured against the British & Irish Lions before limping off with a hamstring issue, is among several players recalled for the Bledisloe Cup series, alongside halfback Jake Gordon and tighthead Allan Alaalatoa.
The Wallabies are now missing their first and second choice fullbacks through injury. Tom Wright was one of Australia’s standout performers before going down against the Springboks in Cape Town, while Kellaway – impressive against Argentina – now joins him on the sidelines.
The Wallabies face an All Blacks side reeling from their record defeat to the Springboks in Wellington, with Saturday’s clash set to test Schmidt’s squad depth once again.
