The Madlanga Commission has been adjourned for the day following the early departure of Crime Intelligence head, Dumisani Khumalo, who reportedly left the venue shortly after 9am due to illness.

This was confirmed by Commissioner Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga on Wednesday morning just when the commission was about to begin.

“He is not well. We as the commission have decided not to sit today,” he said.

Madlanga told journalists that their spokesperson, Jeremy Michaels will announce the new date for proceedings in due course.
