An alleged drug mule and drug courier have been nabbed by the Hawks at Cape Town International Airport with drugs worth over R2 million.

Hawks’ spokesperson, Zinzi Hani, says they acted on a tip-off that a 35-year-old man arrived there from Doha with over five kilograms of cocaine in his check-in bag.

Hani says the man was arrested along with a 52-year-old man believed to be his courier. The two suspects will appear in the Bellville Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.
