SARS to address Montana’s claims in ongoing dispute – SABC News

The South African Revenue Services (SARS) will hold a media briefing this afternoon following the escalation of tensions between it and former Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) CEO, Lucky Montana.

The public spat erupted after Montana laid criminal charges against SARS officials, including Commissioner Edward Kieswetter.

Montana has accused them of fabricating a court judgment to justify a R55m tax bill and subsequent sequestration proceedings against him.
