Over 200 people arrested during Operation Shanela in Mpumalanga – SABC News
Two hundred and thirteen people have been arrested in Mpumalanga for various crimes. They include 93 people for being in possession of drugs and 15 for murder.
Provincial police spokesperson Thulisile Magagula says officers have also confiscated R950 000 in cash and recovered 25 vehicles.
Magagula says the police’s Operation Shanela will continue.
The aim of the multi-disciplinary operation is to combat crime in the province.
