A suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder of two women in Mamelodi East, Pretoria.

The women were in their early 20s. They were fatally shot on Sunday.

A third victim who was also shot is receiving medical treatment at a healthcare facility.

Gauteng Police spokesperson Tinstwalo Sibeko says, “Acting on this information, a joint team consisting of detectives from Gauteng Provincial Serious and Violence Crime Unit, Provincial Crime Intelligence, and Mamelodi East Detectives arrested the suspect at a filling station in Pretoria. The suspect is expected to appear before the Mamelodi Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 29 October 2025.”

Two young women were found dead on this morning ,the 26 of October 2025 at Mahube Valley Extension 17 in Mamelodi, Gauteng.
