Groups of protesters representing MK Party, Operation Dudula and others gathered outside the “ring of steel” surrounding the Nasrec expo centre where the 2025 G20 Leaders’ Summit was being hosted. 

As part of South Africa’s G20 Presidency, the Leaders’ Summit was hosted by President Cyril Ramaphosa, for the first time on African soil.
