Security beefed up as musician Shebe Maburna appears in court
Security has been beefed up at the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court in Limpopo, where a Lekompo musician, Lehlogonolo Chauke, popularly known as Shebe Maburna, is appearing for his bail application.
A high number of the musician’s fans have turned up.
During his appearance last week, the fans and supporters tried to forcefully gain entrance into the court gallery.
Shebe Maburna is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder and assault GBH, among others.
He allegedly shot at a car, leaving one passenger wounded in Ladanna, Polokwane, last month.
The victim is currently in the intensive care unit at the Polokwane Provincial Hospital.
The state had added six more charges to the ones he is currently facing, including others of attempted murder that he allegedly committed in 2023.
