The bail application of a well-known Limpopo-based lekompo musician, Lehlogonolo Chauke, popularly known by his stage name Shebe Maburna, is expected to resume in the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.

Shebe Maburna is facing six counts, including three attempted murders, assault GBH, robbery with aggravating circumstances, possession of an unlicensed firearm and others.

During his previous court appearance, the state added six more charges against the musician.

His lawyer, Lot Ramusi, applied for a postponement of the hearing in order to familiarise himself with the new charges.

Shebe Maburna is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder, that he allegedly committed last month in Ladanna, Polokwane. He allegedly shot at a car, leaving a passenger wounded.

The victim is in the ICU at Polokwane hospital.
