Yes, the ball pit is in the actual level and not showcase only, and yes that’s going to be your real icon falling in there not a fake one. This incredible mechanism was made possible by none other than @hdanke . The amount of ingenuity needed to make that idea possible was huge, and I’m proud of the final result. Anyways..

Heres Orbit. The toughest project we ever had to work on. The level essentially had a layout that was not only orders of magnitude more complicated than LIMBO, but the delicacy of the gameplay made it so that most of the creators involved weren’t able to comfortably express their full potential which lead to the levels insane scope with multiple dropouts and replacements that me and Djoxy unfortunately had to step in and tackle, with lots of bugs that constantly threatened the levels very existence. Believe it or not though, it still has and will have a considerably less object count than LIMBO.

Speaking of Djoxy, being one of my best friends and my literal mentor throughout the game, without his advice and him stepping in to save the level as it was constantly falling apart, you wouldn’t be watching it right now. From improving parts to turning unfinished block designs into the incredible finale you saw, he is a creator that many people should know as a household name by now. Me and him organized the merch, and we greatly appreciate all the fans who got it early.

The production of this level surpassed all my initial expectations for it to be done, ended up once again being a 3 year long painful journey instead of a measly half year. I guess from now on i’ll never promise anyone anything, since as time goes on, and as the levels get bigger and and more complicated, I think it’s best if I get things done on my own pace. I still want to make a solo one day, horrifying I know.
