In a rapid response to information received, the One Stop Control Centre mobilized all available units, in collaboration with SAPS, after learning that a silver Etios was involved in a robbery. The operation led to the apprehension of the traumatized driver in the Slinger Road area of Newlands East by One Stop Aro.
Upon questioning by One Stop officers, the driver recounted a harrowing experience. According to the driver, two individuals had requested an Uber, only to threaten him at gunpoint.
