The late struggle stalwart and former MEC for Community Safety and Liaison, Dennis Neer, is being laid to rest in Gqeberha.

Earlier this week, President Cyril Ramaphosa approved a special Provincial Official Funeral Category 2 for Neer, following a request by Eastern Cape Premier Oscar Mabuyane to honor his contributions.

Neer passed away last Friday after a long illness.
