Vice President JD Vance drops Ohio State’s national championship trophy at White House event

Ohio State, who won the title in January after navigating the first 12-team College Football Playoff, will be the sport’s first champion to make the traditional visit since Donald Trump’s return to the presidency for a second term.

The last time Ohio State’s football team visited the White House to celebrate a playoff championship was in 2015 when former President Barack Obama was in office.
