Eskom suspends load shedding due to 2000 mw recovery in generation

Eskom has attributed its decision to suspend load shedding to the recovery of more than 2 000 megawatts of generation capacity and sufficient emergency reserves.

It also says there is an expected decline in electricity demand.

Eskom implemented stage two load shedding yesterday due to high demand and loss of generating units.

The power utility last implemented load shedding last month.
