Judgment is being delivered in the trial of Kelly Smith and two others in the Western Cape High Court sitting in Saldanha Bay, Western Cape, concerning the kidnapping of six-year-old Joshlin Smith.

The two-month-long trial drew to a close after final arguments by the lawyers of the accused on Wednesday.

The trio, Joshlin’s mother Kelly, Jacquen Appollis and Steveno van Rhyn are on trial in connection with the child’s disappearance from her home in February last year.
