President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to meet with US President Donald Trump at the White House in Washington DC.

This visit will enable Pretoria and Washington DC to reset the strategic relationship between the two countries.

There are number of issues on the agenda including trade, investment, geopolitical issues and the genocide claims that have been backed by Trump, despite South African authorities’ insistence that there is no political persecution in the country.
