Musician Lehlogonolo Chauke, popularly known by his stage name, Shebe Marburna, is today appearing in the Lebowakgomo Regional Court, on Limpopo, on charges of assault and attempted murder.

Chauke allegedly stabbed two men in April 2023.

He was arrested in April and released on bail in July 2023.

“Shebe was arrested in April 2023 after he allegedly stabbed two men, three times on different parts of their bodies with a knife, following a public spat that occurred in Lebowakgomo. He was arrested and spent four months in jail and was released on bail. The state and the defence will present their arguments for plea and trial today,” says Chauke.
