Three bodies stolen from a Kuruman mortuary still not found – SABC News
The family of a Northern Cape man whose body was stolen at a mortuary in Kuruman says they will only find peace when his body is found.
In March, two men entered the guardroom at Motheo wa Bophelo mortuary, assaulted security and stole three bodies.
Macdaline Batswadi, the wife of one of the missing deceased men, says all she wants is to find her husband’s body and bury him with the dignity that he deserves.
“I don’t sleep at night. My blood pressure is high. My sugar diabetes is abnormal, my heart is not okay. I go to the doctors all the time. When I get there, they tell me my blood pressure is high because of stress. Since my husband’s body was stolen, I can’t sleep. No one is calling to tell me if they found the body of my husband or not. They are just quiet.”
