41 stolen vehicles recovered in Cape Town – SABC News
The City of Cape Town’s Metro Police Department says it has recovered 41 stolen vehicles in the past ten months. Member of the Mayoral Committee for Safety and Security, JP Smith, says it is a 58% increase from the previous year.
He says 77 arrests have been made and 105 charges laid.
Smith says the vehicles were found in areas like Philippi, Lentegeur, Bishop Lavis, Manenberg, Gugulethu and Philippi East. He has urged motorists to be vigilant.
