One of the Bulls or Sharks will contest the 2024-25 United Rugby Championship final which may yet be hosted in South Africa.
The two South African contenders each booked a place in the semi-finals along with Leinster and Glasgow after winning quarter-finals.
The Bulls will host the Sharks on Saturday, with the winner advancing to the decider to face whichever team prevails in the Dublin semi-final also on Saturday. Dublin’s Croke Park, Loftus Versfeld and Kings Park are the three possible venues for the final, with the top-seeded finalists among Leinster, the Bulls and Sharks eager to host it.

Even if they upset Leinster at the Aviva Stadium, fourth-seeded Glasgow cannot host the final, while the Bulls and Sharks will be hoping the defending champions win through to ensure the decider takes place in the Republic.
The Bulls were runners-up in 2022 and 2024, the Sharks will make their first appearance in a URC semi, while eight-time league winners Leinster are chasing their first final appearance in the URC era.
