Sacha scoops up SA’s URC top gong
Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu has been named South Africa’s 2024-25 Vodacom URC Player of the Season, capping a standout campaign for the Stormers.
The 23-year-old playmaker, the 2024 SA Rugby Young Player, finished joint-fifth on the overall URC points-scoring list for the league stage and played a central role in the Stormers’ attack.
His award, determined by votes from South African coaches, media and Springbok boss Rassie Erasmus, recognises his growing influence in a side stacked with experienced heads.
It was SACHA pleasure watching this man SHINE in the Vodacom #URC this season.

Feinberg-Mngomezulu’s teammate Deon Fourie was also honoured, taking home Try of the Season for his finish against the Scarlets in round 13.
The veteran flanker dotted down at the end of a free-flowing team move that featured dummies, slick offloads and good footwork that brought fans to their feet. The try, one of 10 nominated, earned the most votes in a public fan poll.
