Ramaphosa to arrive in Canada ahead of G7 summit – SABC News
President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to arrive in Canada on Monday to attend the G7 summit.
Ramaphosa who will attend on invitation of the group, is expected to share South Africa’s state of readiness to host the G20 later this year.
Economics, security and nuclear policy are likely to top the agenda of the G7 summit to be held in Canada. The summit will commence on Monday.
Ahead of the summit, China has warned the Group of Seven advanced economies against manipulating issues related to the world’s second-largest economy for their own agenda.
This after they accused Beijing of unfair business practices a year earlier. The US President Donald Trump and other world leaders are expected to attend the meeting.
