ActionSA says the PCCAAPrevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities Act (PCCAA), empowers the National Director of Public Prosecutions Adv Shamila Batohi to deal with corrupt prosecutors that she says have infiltrated the entity.

The party was giving a review of the Government of National Unity’s first year in office.

ActionSA Parliamentary leader Athol Trollip has expressed concerns at the country’s fight against corruption.

“There’s supposed to be a war against corruption in this country nobody has seen one shot fired and the blames must be laid at the door of the NPA and the NDPP because we see them lose case after case botching prosecution.

We’ve called for the suspension of the NDPP, we’ve called for an investigation into the NPA criminals especially connected criminals know that they can get away with murder that they will evade jail”.
