Coach Felipe Contepomi has named his two best playmakers at flyhalf and fullback respectively as Argentina look to give the British & Irish Lions a reality check before their tour of Australia.
Tomas Albornoz will wear the number 10 jersey on Friday (kick-off 9pm), with vice-captain Santiago Carreras starting at fullback.
Contepomi has loaded his pack with experience, with Julian Montoya captaining the side from hooker. The team’s other vice-captain, Pablo Matera, will add a hard edge to the loose trio which also features Juan-Martin Gonzalez and Joaquin Oviedo.
The match will be the first meeting between the two sides since 2005, where it ended in a 25-25 draw.
