More cold, wet weather to hit Western Cape this week – SABC News
Western Cape authorities say several days of cold and wet weather are predicted for the remainder of this week as well as into next week.
Disaster and emergency services are on stand-by.
Provincial Minister for Local Government, Environmental Affairs and Development Planning, Anton Bredell says after the recent drowning of a young woman at a low-level bridge in Slanghoek, it is important for the public to be reminded of safety precautions.
Bredell has appealed to the public not to litter or dump in stormwater drains, as this will stop the water from draining away and cause even more flooding.
