Intense cold front expected to hit EC on Thursday – SABC News
The Eastern Cape government has warned residents to be extra cautious as the province braces for an intense cold front between Thursday and Friday.
The South African Weather Service has issued a warning of yellow level 2 for damaging winds resulting in localised flooding.
Provincial Government Spokesperson, Khuselwa Rantjies, says government is advising residents to stay indoors and keep warm.
Rantjie says motorists need to be extra careful on the road.
This comes as the search continues after 100 bodies were recovered following floods almost two weeks ago.
