Learners at Wepener in F State say new library will boost academics – SABC News

Some school learners in Wepener in the Free State say the opening of the new Qibing public library will help them perform better academically.

They say the library is accessible as it is close to their homes.

This as the Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture Gayton McKenzie, alongside Free State Premier Maqueen Letsoha-Mathae and MECs, handed over the library to the Qibing community in commemoration of International Mandela Day.

The learners had this to say.

“This library is going to bring some big changes, we are going to be successful in Wepener.”

“Feel so excited about the opening of this library in Qibing.”

“I can just come here study and research; it’s going to help me academically.”
