The All Blacks will have both Scott and Beauden Barrett available for the Rugby Championship – just in time for their double-header against the Springboks.
New Zealand head coach Scott Robertson confirmed that both of the Barrett brothers are expected to be fit for the opening rounds of the Rugby Championship – including the two crunch clashes with the Springboks.

Beauden Barrett sat out the third Test against France in Hamilton with a hand fracture, while skipper Scott Barrett has missed the past two weeks with a calf injury.
“Beauden’s going well,” Robertson said.
“That was one of the reasons we pulled him out this week, to give him every chance to be available for that [Argentina] game. Scott’s tracking really well. That rest has been great for him and in the last week he’s been training, so he’ll be available.”
The All Blacks begin their Rugby Championship campaign away to Argentina on 17 August, before hosting the Boks in back-to-back Tests in Wellington (7 September) and Auckland (13 September).
Dynamic loose forward Wallace Sititi is also expected to recover in time after missing the France series following minor ankle surgery.
Robertson praised his side’s resolve after completing a 3-0 sweep of France, with a rotated side rallying to win the final Test 29-19 on Saturday.
