Louis Rees-Zammit has confirmed he is ending his NFL adventure to return to rugby union, 18 months after trading boots for cleats.
The 24-year-old Welsh speedster shocked the rugby world in early 2024 when he left Gloucester and withdrew from Six Nations contention to join the NFL’s International Player Pathway Programme.
Rees-Zammit spent time with Super Bowl champions the Kansas City Chiefs and later the Jacksonville Jaguars, but never cracked the match-day roster during the regular season.
