Lessons have resumed at JG Zuma High school after gang violence – SABC News
Learners at J. G. Zuma High School in Inanda, North of Durban have returned to school this morning.
Today’s day started as a normal day with school activities and strict security measures on the premises.
This follows violence between the notorious East and West gangs last week, of whom many members are school children. The violence resulted in several schools in the area being closed last Friday, amid fears for people’s safety after a gang member was killed outside JG Zuma High School.
The groups are fighting for control of the township.
