Bail judgment set to be handed down in DJ Sumbody murder case – SABC News
The Alexandra Magistrate’s Court in Johannesburg is expected to deliver judgment in the bail application of the accused in the DJ Sumbody murder case.
Katiso “KT” Molefe is accused of ordering a hit on the celebrity DJ whose real name is Oupa Sefoka.
Sefoka was gunned down on November 20, 2022, in Woodmead, Johannesburg.
Molefe and three others have been charged with the murders of DJ Sumbody and his two bodyguards, Sibusiso Mokoena and Sandile Myeza.
The three alleged hitmen are Michael Pule Tau, Musa Kekana and Tiego Floyd Mabusela.
Molefe was earlier granted bail by the High Court in a separate case involving the murder of engineer and whistleblower Armand Swart.
His lawyer, Advocate Michael Hellens, says that while this court is not bound by the High Court decision, Molefe adhered to all bail conditions until his arrest.
