Chiloane cautions parents against using fraudulent documents when applying for schools – SABC News
Gauteng MEC for Education Matome Chiloane is urging parents not to use fraudulent documents when applying for their children on the online platform.
He also emphasised that all the documents must be certified.
Chiloane announced that the last day to submit all the required documents is the 9th of September.
“I do understand that sometimes parent might have a temptation and go to certain areas and seek addresses whether from a family friend or a friend, or whoever, cousin, it doesn’t matter. I would urge parents to really desist from [doing] that.”
“Because what we have done is that we gave schools the right to go and check and verify if the child stays in that particular feeder zone,” explains the MEC.
