Tshwane committed to addressing energy challenges: Mayor – SABC News
Tshwane Mayor Dr. Nasiphi Moya says the City is not only committed to addressing the challenges of energy supply but also maximising the economy and return on investment.
She was addressing a media briefing in Pretoria on Thursday about the City’s Investment Summit scheduled to take place next month.
This is part of the City’s economic revitalisation strategy, focusing on profiling City-owned assets to attract investment.
Moya says they are working to make it easy to invest in Tshwane.
She says, “We want to have a Tshwane Investment Summit, we want the investors to come and if what we are offering doesn’t make sense, we are not going get the quality of investors that we want. Hence it is going to be important that beyond the logistics, the potential investors that will come to our investment summit must understand that we have done the work, we have prepared for them and we have prepared for the investment summit itself, but most importantly beyond the investment summit.”
