Two people are recovering in hospital after a light aircraft crash – SABC News

Two people have sustained minor injuries in a light aircraft crash on a farm at Thembalethu near George in the Western Cape.

They are currently in the hospital receiving treatment while a forensic team is on the scene investigating the crash site.

Eyewitness, Thembelani Masibhunge says, “I thought it wanted to land, but surprisingly it was banking side to side. It came from the direction of the ocean and made a turn towards the crash site. Past those farms, it was flying low and that’s when I lost sight of it for a moment. It then crashed into the fence where I am standing and skidded a few meters before making a left turn. That’s when it came to a stop near the kraal.”
