A 26-year-old man will appear in the Temba Magistrate’s Court, north of Pretoria, on Monday morning for allegedly murdering his ex-girlfriend, Kgaugelo Marota and attempting to murder his current partner in Carousel View, Hammanskraal.

The 20-year-old’s lifeless body was found lying on the ground, with multiple stab wounds, on Thursday at a tavern in Maubane village near Hammanskraal.

Police say that following the incidents, the suspect posted the reasons behind the two incidents on social media.

According to police, Marota was declared dead on the scene by Emergency and Medical Rescue Services.

Further investigations also revealed that the suspect, after allegedly stabbing his ex-girlfriend, went back to his house, where he stabbed his current girlfriend multiple times.
