E-hailing robbery suspect arrested in Eldorado Park – SABC News


Gauteng Traffic Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the robbery of an e-hailing driver in Eldorado Park, Johannesburg, on Saturday.

According to police reports, the incident occurred when the driver was booked for a trip from Mondeor to Eldorado Park.

Upon arrival, the suspect allegedly ambushed and robbed the driver, forcing him into nearby bushes, where he was tied to a tree.

The suspect was traced to Joseph Flats, where officers found the victim’s car keys in his possession. The suspect was arrested, charged, and he will appear in court on Monday.
