Bontle Mashiyane murder trial to start in Mbombela court on Monday – SABC News
The trial of four people accused of kidnapping and killing six-year-old Bontle Mashiyane is expected to start in the Mpumalanga division of the High Court in Mbombela on Monday.
The four were arrested after Mashiyane’s mutilated body was found in bushes.
She had been reported missing in 2022.
The community had burned to death the fifth suspect in Mataffin near Mbombela in 2023.
The killing of the little girl has caused public outrage.
