Elderly Free State man, grandson to appear in court on murder charges – SABC News
Police in the Free State say the 80-year-old man who has been arrested on murder and defeating the ends of justice charges, will appear in the Kroonstad Magistrates Court, along with his grandson, on Wednesday morning.
The elderly man was arrested on Tuesday.
This follows the discovery of the body of a man on a farm between Kroonstad and Welkom on August 20.
Police Spokesperson Motantsi Makhele says there is a possibility of additional arrests.
