The R81 Road at Ga-Sekgopo between Mooketsi and Polokwane in Limpopo remains closed for traffic. This, as the emergency services personnel and traffic police are attending to a horrific collision involving a minibus taxi and two trucks.

The minibus taxi driver and an unknown number of passengers are trapped in the wreck, which has been squashed between the two trucks.

Transport department Tshifhiwa Dali says it will take several hours to clear the scene.

Motorists are advised to use the Morebeng road as an alternative.
