ActionSA asks PA to make public investigation findings into Kunene – SABC News

ActionSA in Gauteng is calling on the Patriotic Alliance to release the findings of an investigation into wrongdoing against its Deputy President, Kenny Kunene.

In July, Kunene was suspended from all political activity after he was found at the home of murder accused, Katiso “KT” Molefe, during a police raid.

An external law firm, Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr, was appointed to conduct an investigation into Kunene’s ties with Molefe.

Last week, the party confirmed that Kunene had been exonerated from any allegations of wrongdoing.

However, ActionSA Joburg Regional Secretary Lebo Mokoka has questioned the legitimacy of the investigation’s outcome.

“How do we rely on that, to say that it is the gospel truth when they have used information that has been given to them by the PA. So now, we need to be able to rebuild the trust that we have lost as politicians with our residents. That will start with bringing in credible leaders and doing away with every leader that has been connected to criminal activities and looting.”
