The foundation’s President, Maya Singh, says they have submitted a comprehensive document to the KZN Amafa and Research Institute to have the dream realised.
Singh says the sports ground is a symbol of multi-racialism and peace.
“We want to make this, make certain that this foundation is going to eventually make Curry’s Fountain the heritage landmark that it deserves. Remember, Curry’s Fountain is over 100 years old. It’s actually the 101st year of its existence,” says Singh.
Singh says they want to make certain that the iconic venue, Curry’s Fountain, is declared a heritage site for the people of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, and for South Africa.
